Useful detail does not require private detail.
Remove identifiers
Do not publish full names, addresses, phone numbers, account numbers, booking references, barcodes, or unredacted screenshots. Small details can sometimes be combined to identify a person or access an account.
Describe the type of order and approximate timing instead of sharing every identifier.
Check photos carefully
Images can reveal labels, faces, vehicle registrations, documents, reflections, and location clues. Crop or redact anything unrelated to the experience.
Move account resolution to private channels
A public review can explain the issue, but account verification and evidence exchange should happen through the company’s secure support process.
