Turn your experience into clear, fair, and useful guidance for the next customer.
Rating Hut Journal
Specific beats dramatic.
Give readers the situation
Useful reviews explain what you bought, when the interaction happened, and what you expected. This context lets another customer decide whether your experience resembles the decision they are making.
Avoid sharing order numbers, addresses, phone numbers, or employee surnames. Relevant context helps; personal information does not.
Describe actions and outcomes
Replace broad labels with observable facts. Instead of saying support was terrible, explain how long you waited, which channels you tried, what answer you received, and whether the issue was resolved.
Include what went well. A fair review can criticize a late delivery while recognising a helpful refund process. Balanced detail makes the account more credible.
Edit for usefulness
Before publishing, remove speculation about motives and focus on what you personally experienced. Read the review once from the perspective of a stranger who knows nothing about the situation.
- Use a title that names the main outcome.
- Keep the timeline easy to follow.
- Update the review if the company resolves the problem.
- Proofread names, dates, and amounts.
